The Principle of the Path

By Andy’s own admission this book states the obvious. In fact he states it very plainly and repeatedly. It borders on overstatement but he says that many times we see the obvious but do not do the obvious. The principle of the path is very clear. Direction, not intention determines destination. The whole book is written to promote that principle.

Andy is a great communicator and his book is no less impressive. He does a marvelous job at driving home the application of this principle in many and various ways. Andy’s style is not to sound like a sermon but to use stories and advise to drive home his point. It is an easy read that is enjoyable as well as entertaining. Do not be fooled this is not a fiction read it is valuable insight on how to achieve success and avoid the regrets in life.

Andy’s challenge is appealing. We all want to live life arriving at the desired destination and he teaches us that it is a matter of choices and not chance or luck. While there are some exceptions we are unwise if we think that we will always be the exception to the rule.

Get the book and you will be glad you did!

Personal Faith Refreshing

In a day where being "Politically Correct" is the norm it is refreshing to see and hear someone who is willing to share their opinion when asked without the consequences determining the answer.

I am sure by now you have heard the story of Miss California Carrie Prejean being asked her opinion about same-sex marriage during the Miss America Pageant. The question came from an openly homosexual blogger named Perez Hilton who obliviously had an agenda. Hired by Doanld Trump, who ownes the Miss America Pageant, one wonders if this might have been prearranged for the media exposure.

None the less, Miss Prejean was willing to express her opinion even though she believes it might have cost here the Miss America title. In my opinion she already has a more lasting crown and it is her Biblical courage.

In her own words, speaking to Neal Cavuto on Our World with Neal Cavuto she said, "that's the thing I really need to think about: am I trying to be politically correct, or do I want to be biblically correct? And I think that I want to be biblically correct. All I could think about when I was standing there, answering that question was, 'Carrie, what are your beliefs?'"

Mr. Hilton had an ugly word starting with "B" that he called her but I suggest some much better words like Bold and Beautiful.

Thank you Miss California Carrie Prejean for standing up for your personal faith...it was refreshing!

Its the day before Easter. While every Sunday is a celebration of resurrection of Jesus Easter is the day set aside once a year to celebrate in a greater fashion. While there is a great fanfare about reaching people we must not forget that Easter is about Jesus and what He accomplished!

Resurrection from the grave! Life after death. Laying His life down and raising it up again. WOW! What a Savior! What a awesome God we serve.

He did that all for us. He benefited but the greatest benefactor was mankind. That is a love that is beyond our understanding.

Jesus we love you for all you did, are doing and all you are going to do for us!
